Full Day Tours

Danube Bend by Boat Duration: full day

An excursion into Hungary’s history. We lead you to Esztergom (Center of the Catholic church) and Visegrad, the former royal residence where you can enjoy a fascinating view of the Danube valley. After the interior visit we have lunch (three course menu).We carry on to the baroque artist’s village Szentendre and return to Budapest on the Danube by boat. Tour ends at city centre.

Puszta Tour Duration: full day

A short walk to Kecskemet (guided walk) and further to Lajosmizse where you will be greeted with a traditional welcome drink. After the great performance of the famous horsemen and carriage ride through the Puszta, a typical meal ( 3 course menu with wine), accompanied by gipsy music, will be served in the Csarda. Tour ends at Budapest city centre.

Majestic Porcelain and beautiful Balaton Duration: full day

Herend, worlds famous city of porcelain. After a guided tour through the world largest porcelain manufactory (founded 1826), enjoy coffee at the “Porcellanium” were there is an opportunity for shopping. Afterwards drive to the peninsula Tihany, the famous nature reserve (interior visit of the abbey, founded 1051), and then lunch in a traditional csarda (3 course menu with wine). Drive to the capital of Lake Balaton: Balatonfured and visit the promenade. Tour ends at Budapest city centre.

Half Day Tours

Panoramic City Tour Duration: half day

Elisabeth Square, Opera House, Heroes’ Square, Millennium Memorial (photo stop), downtown, Elisabeth Bridge, Panorama to the Danube bank with the famous public buildings. View from Gellert Hill (photo stop) followed by a walk in the Castle District, Matthias church (outside) Fishermen’s bastion (panorama of the city), Margareth bridge and finish outside the Parliament.

Departure Time: Daily at 10:00 am

Jewish Budapest present and Past Duration: 4 hours - includes lunch

Visit the world’s second largest synagogue, the Jewish museum (interior) and Jewish cemetery, then walk to the “Tree of Life” and the Heroes’ Monument. Then walk around the ancient Jewish Ghetto and visit an Orhodox Synagogue. Tour ends at a Jewish restaurant (lunch is not included)
