Intercity train for the 2h 40 min journey to Krakow the Cultural Capital of Europe of the year 2000. Krakow is rich in history with outstanding works of art and architecture. The city is the location of the Jagiellonian University (founded in 1364), the Royal Castle and the largest most beautiful town square in Europe. The afternoon includes a visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau – the largest of the Nazi concentration camps during World War II, where 1.5 million people perished. Return to Krakow for the Intercity train back to Warsaw.

Half Day Tours

Sightseeing of Warsaw Duration: 4.5 hours

Morning tour includes “Old Town” with Castle Square, King Sigismund’s Column, St John’s Cathedral, the Old Town Market Square and the Barbican. Following along the Royal Route famous for it’s aristocratic residences , statues, the University of Warsaw and historical churches. Historical sights such as the Ghetto Memorial, the Monument of the Warsaw Uprising, the tomb of the Unknwn Soldier, the Grand Theatre, Chopin’s Monument in Lazienki Park and the Belvedere Palace.

This tour includes visit to Wilanow Palace, the baroque residence of King John III Sobieski (on Tuesday this tour includes visit to the Palace on the Water in Lazienki Park instead of Wilanow Palace)
