Toledo, El Escorial and Valley of the Fallen Duration: Full Day

Toledo: The impressive Imperial city is a glass case of art. We will visit the cathedral, St. Juan of the Kings and St. Tome churches and synagogue. El Escorial: A basilica, a palace and a Royal pantheon (sixteen sided polygon covered in dark marble), a monastery and a famous library. Valley of the Fallen: A 262 foot long basilica built into the side of a cliff on top of which is a cross standing 150 metres high.

Meeting Point: Julia Travel Bus Terminal, Gran Via 68, 28013 Madrid and selected hotels.
Departure Time: Daily (except Mondays) at 8:45 a.m. from the bus terminal.

Avila and Segovia Duration: Full Day - including lunch

Avila: A quiet walled town that has a warring and mystical background. Built in the 11 th century, St Theresa of Jesus was born here. Visit the cathedral and the Convent of St Theresa.

Segovia: The Romans left a reminder of its ancient civilisation; the aqueduct originally 16 kilometres long there are now 728 metres remaining. See also the cathedral and the Alcazar, a beautiful castle located over a magnificent rock.

Half Day Tours

Toledo Half Day Duration: Half Day

Panoramic Tour Duration: Half Day

Experts say there are seven or eight ‘different’ Madrids. Visit plazas like the Plaza de Espana, de Oriente, Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Neptuno, Cibeles and Puerta de Alcala. Visit the different districts; Castizo (Castillian) quarter of la Moreria, elegant ones like the Prado and Gran Via, modern Madrid with its wide avenues like Castellana. Also see its gardens and parks; Retiro, del Oeste, Casa de Campo.
