The Lake District & Yorkshire Dales

Day 1 - Lake District
Leave London's Euston Station at 6:30 a.m. and arrives at Oxenholme where you will be met by the Mountain Goat driver/guide for your sightseeing tour. Your day includes a visit to the medieval village of Hawkeshead with its narrow streets and quaint cottages, a lake cruise, a visit to one of the Lake District's most picturesque beauty spots, Tarn Hows, a tour through the Langdale valleys to Grasmere, returning to Windermere via Ambleside and Troutbeck.

Day 2 - Yorkshire Dales
You travel through the market town of Kendal to Sedbergh on the edge of the Dales and through Garsdale to Wensleydale, and over the Buttertubs Pass to Swaledale. There are plenty of photo stops and time for refreshments in Reeth. In the afternoon we drive back over the moor through Askrigg, Bolton Castle, Bainbridge, Hawes and Widdale, passing under the famous Ribble Viaduct and return to Oxenholme in time for the 5:40 p.m. train to London, arriving at approximately 9:00 p.m.
