We'll pass the lagoon of Cuyutlan, cross the Armería River and continue on through tropical plantations in the Valley of Tecoman. We will stop in Downtown Colima for shopping or just wonder through the "Jardin Nuñez" and view beautiful colonial architecture in the city. You'll see fascinating Indian cultures, visit tombs, pyramids and caves where ancient artifacts have recently been uncovered at the "The Bell" Archeological site. At various points along our drive, you will see the twin volcanoes, the scientific oddity of the "magnetic hill" and we visit the Cultural Compound Nogueras, the building is 2 stories high with artistic finishes that must be seen, halls 2 and 3 hold the impressive pre-Hispanic art collection. Lunch is included at the beautiful small town called "Comala" right in front of the square garden. Finally we will take you to a place to take pictures of the 2 majestic Volcanoes of Colima. There you will begin hiking on the jungle trails where our bilingual guide will explain the wonders of nature. After 1/2 hour (2 miles) of hiking, you will arrive at our typical palapa hut, where you can rest or take a dip in the clear water creek and enjoy the best Mexican food with hand made tortillas, soft drinks and beer.
